I was pleasantly surprised by my stay! This hotel offers a charming, nostalgic vibe with clean, knotty pine rooms that made for a comfortable retreat. The views of the lake were stunning, and the helpful staff were eager to assist with anything I needed. While the sound insulation could use some improvement, the overall experience was peaceful, especially with the sound of the waves outside. I would definitely recommend this spot for a restful getaway.
This is a fantastic spot to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The views of the lake at sunset are breathtaking, and the amenities such as the pool and playground add to the charm. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for a short getaway, although dining options can be a bit crowded during peak times. Overall, it's a place I would absolutely return to without hesitation.
I found this place to be a hidden gem! My last-minute reservation led me to a lovely stay where the rooms were clean, and the service was fantastic. I couldn’t take advantage of the lake amenities in February, but I can only imagine how great it would be during the warmer months. Just be sure to make restaurant reservations ahead of time, as places tend to fill up quickly.
I stumbled upon this lovely motel while looking for a quick getaway and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The rooms were clean, and the service from the owners was incredibly warm and welcoming. We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities like the pool or beach due to the season, which was a bit of a letdown, but I can imagine they would be fantastic in warmer months. The only downside was missing out on local dining without reservations; it can get quite packed!
This resort is truly a hidden gem along Lake Erie. The accommodations are charming and varied, from cozy rooms to unique Airstreams. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. We enjoyed stunning sunset views from the grassy knoll while sipping our favorite wine. However, the property is quite rustic, and there is a steep drop to the lake, which might not be ideal for everyone.
